About Melinda Hill

Hill is a native of Warren County and a graduate of Warren East High
School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Union University in
Jackson, Tennessee, and her Masters in Business Administration from
Western Kentucky University.
Melinda resides in Bowling Green and has two children: Hilary, a
University of Louisville graduate and currently in her fourth year
of medical school at the University of Kentucky; and Thomas, a
Junior at the University of Kentucky. The family attends Broadway
United Methodist Church.
Melinda maintains an active commitment
to the Bowling Green area through civic and community engagement.
First elected in 2011, Hill is a Bowling Green City Commissioner and
is in her second term serving as Mayor Pro Tem. She is currently the
chairperson for the Sloan Convention Center Board, a member of the
Inter-Modal Transportation Authority Board of Directors, the
chairperson for the Job Development Incentive Program and a member
of the Life’s Better Together Board.

years when I was an infant and when I went away to college, I
have lived in Bowling Green my entire life. I have raised my two
children here and believe it is a great community to live and

to give back to an incredible community that has blessed my life
